Lincoln Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying suspects connected to two separate investigations. LPD’s Becky Keller says the first one is from Friday, June 26th where a trailer was reported missing near 57th and Judson.
“Neighboring cameras were reviewed and captured what appeared to be an older white male getting out of a reddish Dodge Durango, hooking up the trailer, and taking off with it,” Keller says. It was later left behind in a parking lot near 44th and Cornhusker. Keller says it was dropped off by the same Dodge Durango.
“It has since been returned to its owner, but we’d still like to get the person responsible identified.”
The second case happened on Saturday, July 18th around 1:00 pm. when a south Lincoln massage therapist reported being groped by an unknown man while she was at work. “The male entered the business, and she approached him to greet him,” Keller says. “He inquires about getting a massage and asks her if she is the only one in the business.”
Keller says the therapist became increasingly uncomfortable when he continued to advance towards her. “She attempts to remain kind, they have a very brief conversation about ethnicity, and then the man leans in to hug her.” Keller says the man then groped her chest.
“She immediately told him to get out and called police.” The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 35-50 years old, 5’8″ and 160 lbs.
