A Lincoln woman is facing a felony arson charge after police say she intentionally started a fire inside an apartment Saturday night.  Lincoln Police and Lincoln Fire and Rescue were called just  to an apartment complex near 27th and Old Cheney around 9:00 p.m.

“The victim reported 27-year-old Alandria Bohanon of Lincoln had intentionally started items on fire on the stovetop,” says LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas.  “As the victim extinguished the flames, the suspect left.”

Thomas says Bohanon later returned to the apartment and officers took her into custody. She was arrested and taken to the Lancaster County Jail for 1st degree arson. Thomas says a fire inspector found a partially melted propane torch inside the oven.
