Nebraska running back Mehki Nelson was arrested in Key West, Fla., for aggravated battery involving a pregnant woman. His next court date is scheduled for July 9 at 9 a.m.
Nelson has rushed for two touchdowns and 149 yards in 28 career carries. He was expected to contend for the starting running back job this season.
