Lincoln Police are searching for three juveniles after a weekend vandalism and theft at Kelly’s Produce. Officers were called to the business at 2904 North 48th Street just before 7:00 Saturday morning. Investigators say surveillance video shows four juveniles, one girl and three boys, arriving in a red minivan shortly before 5 a.m.
Police say the group damaged and destroyed several items from the business, including produce and business equipment before stealing several items and driving away. The estimated damage is more than $5,200. A 15-year-old girl has been identified and referred to juvenile court on felony criminal mischief and misdemeanor theft charges.
The three other juveniles have not yet been identified, although investigators say they’re making progress. Lincoln Police are thanking the public for tips, including a parent who helped identify one of the suspects.
