The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says two people were seriously injured in a two vehicle crash at 82nd and Roca Road near Hickman late Wednesday morning. “There was a northbound vehicle that had stopped at the stop sign, but then failed to yield to a westbound SUV,” says Chief Deputy Ben Houchin.
Houchin says there were two people in the SUV, a 77-year-old and a 68-year-old from Pawnee City. Both were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Houchin says a 34-year-old Hickman man, who was driving the northbound vehicle was treated at the scene.
He was also cited for failing to yield the right-of-way.
