A Christmas tradition that started in the Haymarket and then at Star City Shores will move this upcoming season to the Sandhills Global Event Center and will change its format from a drive-through event to a walk-through event.
On the June 12th edition of the Lincoln Business Beat podcast, Nebraska Christmas Lights show owner Constantine Syniy told Jim Ballard and Mark Vail, “So it’s like a small European festival maybe, something like that.”
The walk-through light show will have some additional amenities which Syniy described as, “It will be 12 rooms, decent size, enclosed, as a part, addition to the whole lights. And every room is going to be themed like a Mrs. Claus kitchen, North Pole.”
Syniy, the owner of the show and All Pro Heating and Air Conditioning, immigrated from Ukraine in 2001 and, after working for a few years, decided to start his own business. His son runs the business for nearly half a year while Constantine concentrates on the light show.
