Lincoln readers will soon help choose the next One Book One Lincoln selection. Lincoln City Libraries has announced the three finalists for the 2026 community reading program. The books are “Culpability” by Bruce Holsinger, “The Names” by Florence Knapp and “There Are Rivers in the Sky” by Elif Shafak.
Library Director Ryan Wieber says the books were chosen to spark discussion and connection throughout the community. A 17-member committee narrowed 156 nominations down to the final three after beginning the selection process in February.
Community members can now vote for their favorite title through August 31st. Ballots are available online The selected book will become the featured title for the 2026 One Book One Lincoln program. Wieber tells KLIN News there goal is to bring the author of the winning book to Lincoln for a public visit.
All three finalists are available through the library in print, ebook and downloadable audiobook formats.
