A Lincoln man is accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old child. LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says on Wednesday, April 22, a mandatory reporter called the DHHS hotline to report the belated sexual assault of a 12-year-old boy.
Thomas says Special Victims Unit investigators worked diligently over the last three weeks. “They determined 56-year-old Hung Van Vu of Lincoln had inappropriately touched the child on multiple times between January 2021 and May 2023.”
Vu was arrested on Monday and taken to the Lancaster County Jail and booked for 3rd degree sexual assault of a child.
