Nebraska football’s matchup at Illinois will be on Friday night for the third time in four years, after Fox Sports announced its Friday night package Friday, moving the Cornhuskers’ matchup with the Fighting Illini to a 7 p.m. kickoff on Friday, Nov. 6. The game will be telecast on Fox, with radio coverage on KLIN and Froggy 98.
Nebraska fell to Illinois in Memorial Stadium’s 400th consecutive sellout in 2024 in a Friday night game, one year after the Huskers defeated the Illini in Champaign on a Friday night. Illinois also hosted Nebraska on a Friday night in 2017.
Kickoff times for the rest of the Huskers’ 2026 football schedule will be announced at a later date.
