Lincoln Fire and Rescue crews battled a house fire near 56th and Adams around 1:45 Friday morning. “The home was under construction, so there were no occupants there,” says LFR Public Information Officer MJ Lierman.
“The fire started outside the house, moved up the exterior and into the attic space.” Lierman says the fire caused about $50,000 to the home and $10,000 to contents, which she says was mostly tools at the construction site.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
