The 2026 Nebraska Passport program will officially get underway on Friday, May 1.

To mark the occasion, Visit Nebraska is hosting a public kickoff event at the Museum of American Speed in Lincoln from noon to 4 p.m. Attendees can enjoy passport-themed activities, partner booths and other special programming.

The Nebraska Passport program encourages residents and visitors to explore unique attractions, small businesses and hidden gems across the state. This year’s program features 70 stops organized into themed tours. Participants have through September 30 to collect stamps by visiting stops across the state, recorded through a printed booklet or mobile app.

“Its a great way for people to explore Nebraska, explore their community, shop local, really engage with places maybe you’ve never heard of,” said Lilly Uhlmann, Industry Relations and Education Coordinator for Visit Nebraska. “You might see Nebraska in a way you never have before.”
