A media advisory early Sunday morning announced that State Senator Mike Flood from Norfolk will be announcing plans about his future at a 3 pm Sunday afternoon event at the State Capitol.
According to the advisory Flood is ‘excited to share his plan for the future with Nebraskans.”
Flood is a former Speaker of the Legislature. Recent speculation about polling to see whether Flood would be a viable candidate against US Congressman Jeff Fortenberry was answered by Flood as a firm, “no comment.”
It is noteworthy that the e-mail sent was “Paid for by Mike Flood for Congress”. (see screen shot below)
