Lincoln Police believe one man is responsible for two business burglaries early April 15. Officers first responded to Romantix near South 10th and High streets around 2:30 a.m. LPD spokesperson Erika Thomas says the suspect broke a glass door and took about $940 in merchandise.

Officers were later called to Capital City Sports Cards near 59th and Old Cheney Road around 7:20 a.m., though investigators believe that burglary happened around 2:45 a.m. “The total estimated loss is nearly $4,000 in various Pokémon cards, with the most expensive valued at $450,” Thomas said.

The suspect is described as an unknown man wearing a tan Carhartt-style coat, black mask, gray sweatpants, gray shoes, and black gloves, and carrying a black bag. The incidents occurred about 15 minutes apart.  Anyone with information is asked to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000.
