Two people were injured in crash near UNL’s City Campus around 11:40 Thursday night. LPD Lieutenant Chris Weber tells KLIN News a motorcycle was northbound on N. Antelope Valley Parkway and ran a red light at north 17th Street and collided with the side of westbound sedan.
“The driver of the car sustained minor injuries, and the motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital, where his condition was deemed critical.” LPD says the 27-year-old suffered serious facial injuries and was not wearing a helmet.
Police say the motorcyclist was cited and released for careless driving and no proof of financial responsibility.
