Nebraska forward Pryce Sandfort confirmed that he will return to the Cornhuskers next season for his senior season. Sandfort was reported to be considering a jump to the NBA, but decided to return for his senior year. Sandfort was the leading scorer for the record-breaking 2025-26 Nebraska men’s basketball team, scoring 18.1 points per game while hitting 41.6 percent of his three-point shots. He also contributed 4.9 rebounds per game while dishing out two assists per game. Sandfort came to Nebraska after beginning his college career at Iowa.

Sandfort joins Braden Frager as two major players from this year’s Huskers to publicly announce his return. Berke Buyuktuncel is the lone Husker to play major minutes last year to announce his entrance into the transfer portal.
