Lincoln Police say just before 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday a woman was standing on a sidewalk contacting people coming and going from the Planned Parenthood clinic in the 5600 block of S. 48th Street. Sergeant Chris Vigil says one of the people she contacted was 44 year old Anthony Ladd.
“Ladd became angry and started to yell profanities at the woman. Ladd walked to his vehicle, retrieved a 28.5 inch piece of rebar, and returned to where the woman was,” Vigil says.
He says Ladd continued yelling profanities and verbal threats toward the woman while holding the rebar. “Which made her fear he was going to hit her. The woman was not struck.”
Vigil says Ladd eventually returned to his vehicle, hit the vehicle with the rebar, then left. Officers located him nearby a short time later and recovered the rebar from his vehicle. Ladd was arrested for Terroristic Threats.
