Lincoln Police say the death of a 30-year-old woman is being investigated by an out-of-state law enforcement agency. LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says LFR responded to a medical emergency at a home near NW 51st Street and West Huntington Avenue at 4:25 Wednesday morning.
Emergency personnel performed CPR on the woman, but she was pronounced dead. Thomas says her death may be related to an incident outside of Lincoln on Sunday.
“Looks like there was an assault that happened in another state and they are treating this as a suspicious death to investigate cause or contributing factors,” Thomas says. No other details have been released.
