Nebraska senior pitcher Jordy Frahm earned her second Big Ten Pitcher of the Week honor from the conference office Monday. Frahm propelled the Cornhuskers to a weekend sweep of Rutgers, earning two of the three wins while not allowing an earned run. She surrendered just five hits and one walk in nine innings while striking out 17.
It’s Frahm’s second conference pitcher of the week honor of the season. She was named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week on March 23 after the Michigan State series. It’s the fourth pitcher of the week honor a Nebraska pitcher has earned this year, with both Alexis Jensen and Hannah Camenzind winning one during the season.
Nebraska prepares to take on Wisconsin Friday at 7 p.m. in Madison, Wisc. Pregame coverage begins at 6:45 p.m. on B-107.3.
