Lincoln Police are searching for a man who broke into the Casey’s store at 110 NW 20th Street around 2:30 Friday morning . Police say when officers arrived, they found the front door had been shattered and items thrown about the business. Officers contacted the store manager, who arrived on scene and reported that several tobacco products and alcohol had been stolen.
The manager reviewed the store video with officers that showed a man enter the store and removed alcohol and tobacco products and left the store. Officers processed the scene for evidence, canvassed the area and will analyze the video further. An inventory of items stolen is still being completed. There was an estimated $500 damage to the business.
