The Nebraska volleyball team will play at historic Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, as part of the Big Ten/SEC Challenge on Sunday, Sept. 6. The Cornhuskers will face Missouri, while Penn State will take on Kentucky that same night. First serve for the two match event is scheduled for 6 p.m., and tickets are scheduled to go on sale at 10 a.m., on Thursday, April 9.
The matches are part of a larger Big Ten/SEC challenge in which all 18 Big Ten teams and all 16 SEC teams will square off beginning Tuesday, Sept. 1 and culminating with the event at Wrigley Field. As part of the Husker volleyball team’s trip to Chicago, Nebraska will also face DePaul at Wintrust Arena in Chicago on Friday, Sept. 4. Tickets for the match at Wrigley Field will go on sale to Husker Volleyball season ticket holders on April 6 at 10 a.m., and to the general public on April 9 at 10 a.m. Ticket information for the Wrigley Field match can be found at www.cubs.com/bigtenvolleyball .
The Huskers begin their spring schedule on Saturday, April 11 at 1 p.m. as Nebraska faces Iowa State at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D. Pregame coverage will begin at 12:30 p.m. on B-107.3.
