Lincoln Police were called to Lobo City Mex near 27th and R around 3:45 Wednesday morning after a passerby noticed a broke glass door. “Officers confirmed the front door had been broken by a large brick,” says LPD Public Information Manager Erika Thomas. “A jewelry display case inside had been broken into and most of its contents were taken.”
The total estimated damage is $2,000. The value of the jewelry taken is unknown. “Surveillance video shows the person responsible dressed in a brown Carhartt-style coat, black pants, white and black Jordan 13’s, black gloves and a black mask and driving a darker colored Jeep Wrangler,” Thomas says.
