Nebraska freshman pitcher Alexis Jensen was named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week by the conference office Monday. The left-hander and Gretna native was 2-0 with a 3.11 ERA with four runs and 12 strikeouts in nine innings, as the Cornhuskers swept Michigan in the first Big Ten series of the season.
Nebraska now prepares to face Michigan State in a three-game series beginning Friday in East Lansing, Mich.
