The Nebraska women’s basketball team was selected for the NCAA Tournament and will play in the First Four Wednesday in Durham, N.C., against Richmond. The winner will slot into the No. 11 seed in Sacramento region one and face No. 6 Baylor Friday.
The Cornhuskers (18-12) qualify for the NCAA Tournament for the third straight season and the fifth time under Coach Amy Williams. Nebraska started the season strong, but faltered down the stretch, losing seven of the last nine games. But the Huskers were still selected for the 68-team field.
Tip off time is to be announced, but the game will be broadcast on KLIN and B-107.3.
