Lincoln Police have identified the man whose body was Tuesday along Oak Creek near the Sandhills Global Youth Complex. Captain Todd Kocian says the man was 46-year-old Andrew Marr.
“Currently there does not appear be anything suspicious surrounding this death, the investigation is ongoing,” Kocian says. LPD says workers with the Lower Platte Natural Resources District were doing some cleanup along the creek and located the man’s body in some water.
A preliminary investigation indicates Marr’s body had been there for some time.
