Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) today announced that portions of two streets will close beginning March 12 and 14. The closures are as follows:
- Westbound “O” Street between 68th and 70th streets will close from 9 p.m. Thursday, March 12, to 6 a.m. Friday, March 13, for a signal replacement project. Northbound turns onto 70th Street from “O” Street will also be restricted. The Lincoln Police Department will manually control the intersection during the closure. The recommended detour is “A” Street or Vine Street.
- “P” Street between 7th and 8th streets will be closed for St. Patrick’s Day events from Saturday, March 14, through Tuesday, March 17.
Travelers are encouraged to seek an alternate route and exercise caution around these closures. Current information on street closures is available at lincoln.ne.gov/closures.
