Lincoln Police were called to 1st and F Street just before 6 a.m. on New Year’s Day to investigate a Cadillac CTS stuck on the railroad tracks. Officers located 28 year old Shaquille Falcon and 31 year old Rudy Martinez inside a bystander’s vehicle keeping warm.
Falcon admitted he was the driver of the Cadillac and showed signs of intoxication. While officers were conducting a DUI investigation on Falcon, Martinez was allowed to return to the Cadillac to get belongings. Officers then noticed the smell of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.

Officers searched the Cadillac and round a loaded 9mm handgun in the center console. Falcon and Martinez are both convicted felons. Both were booked for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. Falcon’s blood alcohol level was nearly twice the legal limit and he was also arrested for 1st offense DUI.
