A man wanted by Lincoln Police is in custody after officers learned he was involved in a disturbance at the Magnusen Hotel in the 3400 block of NW 12th Street late Sunday night.  Officer Erin Spilker says while officers were enroute they learned 27-year-old Seth Larsen wanted on a warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance.

When officers arrived, they saw Larsen exit out of a door of the hotel carrying a duffle bag.  As officers attempted to contact him, Spilker says Larsen pulled his hoodie over his head and took off running on foot.  Officers chased after Larsen eventually catching up to him and tackling him to the ground as he refused to stop.

When officers tried to take him into custody, he resisted.  After a struggle, officers were able to place him in handcuffs and secure him in a police cruiser.  Larsen was evaluated at a local area hospital for minor scrapes before being taken to the jail.  He was arrested for his warrant, felony Resisting Arrest, due to previous convictions, and Obstructing a Police Officer.
