One of Lincoln’s most beloved holiday traditions is back as Phillip’s Lincoln Lights launches its 2025 display map, updated routes, and annual community contests celebrating the city’s most festive homes.

Creator Phillip Wagoner, who has spent more than a decade documenting Lincoln’s Christmas light displays, says this year’s map includes about 75 verified locations across the city, with more added daily.

“Everyone loves all displays sometimes. We don’t discriminate. Big, small, animated, musical, if it brings joy, it’s on the map,” Wagner said during an interview on KLIN’s Drive Time Lincoln.

Wagoner said the routes are designed to give families 60–75 minute tours of displays in various regions of the city. “You can’t make a route of every display or you’d spend the whole day driving,” he said. “These routes keep it fun, manageable, and easy for families to enjoy.”

The routes will be available at phillipslincolnlights.com, where users can open them directly in Google Maps.

Phillip’s Lincoln Lights is hosting two levels of contests this year, one decided by local judges and the other decided by public vote. Yard signs with QR codes will be placed at participating homes for easy mobile voting.
