Nelson got the Braves on the board, and Ellie McDermid followed with a three-pointer to give the Braves a 5-2 lead two minutes into the game. Nebraska then went on a 6-0 run and never trailed again. The run extended to 15-2 as the Huskers built a 17-7 lead midway through the first quarter. Nebraska led at the end of the first quarter, 22-16.

An 11-0 Husker run to start the second quarter opened the NU advantage to 33-16. Nebraska pushed the lead to 21 before taking a 48-28 lead to halftime. The Huskers scored 12 straight points in the third quarter to balloon the lead to 62-30 with 2:37 to go in the third quarter. NU led 65-36 going to the fourth quarter. In the final period, Bradley never got closer than 29 points as the Huskers cruised to victory.
