Another win for Nebraska women’s basketball, this one with a pair of Huskers shining.

Nebraska improved to 12-0 on the season with a 72-61 victory over Wyoming Wednesday afternoon.

Jaz Shelley finished with her second double-double as a Husker, scoring 12 points and adding 11 rebounds. She was on triple-double watch, though, ending just shy with seven assists.

When Shelley was locked up in the third quarter, Annika Stewart erupted. The second-year freshman scored 10 of her game-high, and career-high, 21 points in the third frame. She hit 8-of-13 shots from the field, including a trio of 3s.

As a team, Nebraska shot 45.9 percent, including 9-of-25 from deep.

Once again, the Huskers shared the ball well, assisting on 17 of the 28 made baskets.

Nebraska is undefeated through nonconference play, and already has a Big Ten win. The league slate begins in full Dec. 30 at Michigan State.
