Nebraska guard and Lincoln native Braden Frager was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
Frager piled up 18.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game as the Cornhuskers won a pair of games at the Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City, earning him tournament MVP honors in the process.
Frager is the first Husker freshman to earn the weekly award since Jamarques Lawrence in 2023.
The Huskers are back in action on Tuesday night, as Nebraska takes on Winthrop. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m., with pregame coverage at 6:30 p.m. on KLIN.
