Behind solid shooting, the Nebraska women’s basketball team cruised to an 82-70 victory over North Dakota State Sunday at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S. Dak. The Cornhuskers hit 60 percent of their shots, including draining six-for-15 from three-point range.
Amiah Hargrove led Nebraska with 17 points on seven-for-seven shooting along with seven rebounds. Britt Prince added 16 points while shooting seven-for-12 from the field. Jessica Petrie tallied 12 for NU as well. The Bison were led by the 26 points of Avery Koenen, who shot 11-of-15 from the field. Karrington Asp contributed 14 points while Jocelyn Schiller added 10.
Nebraska led 22-20 after one quarter, 42-34 at half and 63-53 through three quarters.
