Lincoln Police are investigating after a woman was struck by a car at 48th and St. Paul Avenue Saturday morning. LPD says when officers arrived around 10:45 a.m. officers contacted passerby’s who were rendering aid to a woman in her 60s, who had been struck by a vehicle.
Police say she died from her injuries and the driver of the vehicle is cooperating with the investigation. The name of the victim is being withheld pending family notification. The Lincoln Police Department requests anyone with further information, including video or audio recordings, to contact the non-emergency number at 402 441-6000.
