A Lincoln man ended up in jail Halloween night after police say he assaulted one of his neighbors. LPD says just after 9:30 officers were sent to the area of 11th and F Streets where they spoke with a man who said he had been assaulted by one of his neighbors.
LPD says as officers were taking his report, the victim’s neighbor was seen fighting with another person. When 24-year-old Artemio Reyna of Lincoln did not comply with officers’ orders to drop a knife, a Taser was deployed and he was taken into custody.
After being treated at a local hospital, Reyna taken to the Lancaster County Jail for first degree assault and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony. He was also cited for 3rd degree assault and criminal mischief.
A 26-year-old male victim was treated and released for minor injuries.
