Lincoln Police are investigating after several gunshots were reported early Tuesday morning near 40th and Randolph Streets.
LPD Captain Todd Kocian said officers responded around 4:07 a.m. and found eight spent 9mm shell casings in the street. Investigators say no injuries or property damage were discovered at the scene.
A nearby doorbell camera captured a white, newer mid-size SUV speeding away from the area immediately after the shots were heard.
