The celebration of local craft beer and the businesses that serve them is back.  Lincoln Craft Beer Week begins Saturday, October 11 and runs through October 18 and will  spotlight eleven local establishments with fun events scattered over all eight days.

This is the fourth year for Lincoln Craft Beer Week and serves as a fun way to get people interested in and to enjoy local craft beer, all while sampling their favorite local beverages and exploring new, unique offerings throughout Lincoln.

“Lincoln Craft Beer Week is another example of how the community’s distinct destinations and venues make Lincoln the unique city it is, tying into the Vitality Lincoln Strategic Plan in highlighting an incredible asset,” says Jeff Maul, Executive Director of Visit Lincoln.  “These venues are often one of the first things visitors to our community seek out as fun places to check out during their stay in Lincoln.”

The participating breweries and venues are Backswing Brewing Co., Bierhaus Maisschäler, Boiler Brewing Company, Corn Coast Brewing Co., Empyrean Brewing Co., Kinkaider Brewing Co., Pour Craft Beer & Spirits, Salt Mine City Brewing Co., Saro Cider, White Elm Brewing Company and Zipline Brewing Co.

“Our local breweries, cideries and establishments truly have unique offerings for all tastes and go the extra mile to make their venue one an inviting one for visitors, setting the stage for them to return to upon their next visit to Lincoln,” Maul says.

The Lincoln Craft Beer Week Passport is back this year in digital form.  Participants can download the passport and use mobile check-ins at each location.  Those that visit at least seven of the participating venues will have the chance to enter a drawing to win a $250 gift card to the participating brewery of their choice.
