Lincoln Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying suspects in two separate cases, one involving the theft of a mini-bike and trailer in central Lincoln; the other involving the theft of a woman’s wallet while she was grocery shopping.

The first case occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025, near 32nd & Holdrege.

LPD Video Forensics Technician Becky Keller says two individuals arrived in the area, grabbing a black 2005 utility trailer and a red 2023 Coleman gas mini-bike, and taking off.

The trailer was recovered by the owner in the area of 63rd and Baldwin, but police say the mini bike is still missing.

Suspect photo and video are available below.

The second case occurred around 4:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the Russ’s Market near Coddington and West “A” Street.

Keller says the victim in this case, an elderly woman, was shopping when two men approached her. A man wearing a brown sweatshirt asked her how to cook sausage. While the woman was distracted, a man in a gray sweatshirt grabbed her wallet from her purse.

The two suspects then went to Walmart on N. 27th and attempted to use her credit and debit card to make more than $1,600 worth of purchases.

Video from the incident and photos of the suspects are available below.

If you have information on either of these cases, contact Lincoln Police at (402) 441-6000 to speak with an officer, or make an anonymous report to Crime Stoppers at (402) 475-3600. An anonymous tip can be left online through lincolncrimestoppers.com.
