Lincoln Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying suspects in two separate assault cases.
The first case occurred around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, September 1, 2025, at the Hy-Vee near N. 27th and N. View Drive.
LPD Video Forensics Technician Becky Keller says a man was captured on security surveillance attempting to walk out of the store without paying for all his items.
Store staff told investigators they were able to recover the items at the door, but the suspect refused to stop for them, exiting the store, and getting into a black Chevy Traverse with no license plates.
Keller says the man was wearing a Dr. Pepper t-shirt and a very unique Denver Nuggets ballcap with patches on it.
Photos of the suspect are available below.
The second case occurred around 3:15 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Office Depot near 50th and “R” Streets.
Keller says two individuals entered the store, one grabbing a $700 Canon printer, before they both left without paying for it.
The particular suspect who stole the printer was described as a white male in a neon yellow shirt. The other male was described as a Hispanic male with a long pony tail and a goatee. Both men have several tattoos on their arms and legs.
Investigators says the neon yellow shirt is thought to possibly be a construction business shirt.
Photos of the two suspect are available below.
