Lincoln Police arrested a man they say pointed a gun at two 17-year-old boys on Friday afternoon near 47th and ‘M’ Streets. Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says the victims told officers they got into a verbal argument with the suspect around 12:30 p.m. after he confronted them about their behavior in the area.
“During the verbal argument, the male produced black handgun, racked the slide and pointed it at the juveniles.” During the course of the investigation, 31 year old Kaleb Burgess-Kelley of Lincoln was identified as the suspect.
A firearm was also recovered during the investigation. Burgess-Kelley was arrested and taken to the Lancaster County Jail and booked for terroristic
threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
