Lincoln Police are investigating following a two vehicle crash in in the Havelock neighborhood Tuesday afternoon. Public Information Manager Erika Thomas says the crash happened just after noon at 66th and Logan Avenue.
“An SUV was northbound on 66th Street and was struck by a smaller SUV that was speeding through the yield sign,” Thomas says. The impact forced the larger SUV on it’s side. Thomas says the driver and three children were in that vehicle.
One of the children was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the smaller SUV was not injured. No citations have been issued at this point.
