Nebraska followed up a big loss Tuesday with a big loss Saturday.
The Huskers (5-6, 0-2 Big Ten) trailed 8-7 early, but a 15-2 Auburn (8-1, 0-0 SEC) put the game at a double-digit deficit that Nebraska could never overcome. The Tigers won 99-68.
Chris Basnett of the Lincoln Journal Star reports this is the first time Nebraska men’s basketball has dropped back-to-back games by at least 30 points each.
Just went back through every single season of #Huskers basketball. As far as I can tell, this is the first time Nebraska has lost back-to-back games by 30 or more points. Program was started in 1896.
