Lincoln Police say a pedestrian has died after being struck be a vehicle Sunday morning. LPD says the 37-year-old person was running southbound on S. 27th Steet near Barnard Road just before 6:00 a.m. and was struck from behind by a southbound vehicle.
The location is just south of Rokeby Road. The pedestrian was taken to a Lincoln hospital and later died. LPD says the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Investigators say no impairment of the driver is suspected and no citations have been issued.
