Lincoln Police were called to the Hy-Vee at 84th and Holdrege Thursday morning to investigate an employee embezzlement.
Police spoke with Hy-Vee loss prevention personnel who said 24 year old Melvin Mosley had been pocketing money from cigarette sales for several months.
From June 20th through December 8th, Mosley is suspected of taking money from tobacco sales more than 100 times. The total loss is estimated at $20,474.
Mosley was booed for felony theft by deception.
