The City of Lincoln is launching a new evening food truck gathering series called “Downtown Dinners at the Food Truck Zone.”
The first event in the series is set for Thursday, July 24, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. in the official Food Truck Zone located at Seventh and K streets, under Rosa Parks Way in the South Haymarket. The new series will continue with two more Thursday night events scheduled for August 14 and October 2.
Food trucks expected at the kickoff include World Plates, Crepes Café, and Golden Badger Bake Shop, which features German, Czech, and UK comfort foods. The city says vendors are subject to change.
The Food Truck Zone features dedicated parking, outdoor seating, planters, lighting, a basketball half-court, and skateboarding obstacles.
