An inmate at the Lincoln Correctional Center (LCC) is being treated at the hospital for serious injuries resulting from an assault by another inmate. The assault occurred Monday morning in the cell shared by both men.
The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services released additional details about the assault 21-132 LCC Inmate Assault
The identities of the inmates involved have not been released.
