A shooting in southeast Lincoln Sunday afternoon wounded a 68 year old man. Sergeant Chris Vigil says 19 year old Tyler Foster of Chattanooga, TN was parked in stall in the 5800 block of Boboli Lane when an argument started with the driver another vehicle.
“As the intensity of the argument increased, Foster produced a pistol and shot the victim once in the upper torso,” Vigil says. “The victim proceeded to try to run away and Foster fired a second round, striking him in the lower body.”
Vigil says officers performed life saving measures on the victim until LFR crews arrived. He says the victim remains hospitalized in stable condition. Foster was booked for first degree assault and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
