Williams named to Big Ten first team

By Nate Rohr Mar 11, 2025 | 12:47 PM

Nebraska guard Bryce Williams was named first-team All-Big Ten Tuesday by the Big Ten coaches and media. He’s the first Husker to earn top honors  from the conference since James Palmer, Jr., in 2018.

Williams led the Big Ten in scoring in conference games with 20.7 points per game, while also averaging 4.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. Williams is the first Nebraska player to lead the conference in scoring in conference play since 2014.

Williams and the Huskers are idle this week, waiting for their postseason fate after not qualifying for the Big Ten Tournament. Nebraska could be selected for either the NIT or the Crown Tournament in Las Vegas.
