Nebraska State Patrol troopers arrested one person after finding more than 250 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop in northern Nebraska.  Patrol spokesman Cody Thomas says around 7:20 Friday night a trooper stopped a Chevrolet Silverado near the intersection of Highway 21 and Highway 81 with a driver known to have a suspended license.

During the stop, the trooper saw marijuana in plain view in the pickup.  A search of the vehicle revealed several bags of marijuana in the cab and bed of the pickup. The total weight of the marijuana was 252 pounds.

The driver, 40-year-old Coty Weber of Saint Peter, Minnesota, was arrested for driving under suspension, possession of more than a pound of marijuana and possession with intent to deliver. He was booked into the Pierce County Jail.
