By News Feb 4, 2021 | 4:46 AM

…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY…

Snow. Total snow accumulations of up to two inches are possible with winds gusting as high as 45 mph across portions of east central, northeast and southeast Nebraska and southwest and west central Iowa.

Plan on slippery road conditions. Falling and blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions will affect the morning commute.

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

Additional Information:

Morning travel will be affected by a combination of reduced visibilities in falling and blowing snow and potentially slippery road conditions. The snow will end from west to east across the area later this morning with accumulations of an inch or two possible at some locations.

Friday through Wednesday: Very cold temperatures are forecast from the weekend into at least the middle next week. Daytime highs will only reach the single digits or teens with lows in the single digits below zero. Wind chills on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday mornings could reach 10 to 20 below zero. There are also chances for accumulating snow from late Friday night into Monday for at least parts of the area.
