An arrest is made in the theft of a 2020 Jeep sometime between November 11th and the 14th in Waverly. The owner had been out of town and had left the vehicle unlocked with the keys inside.
Lancaster County Sheriff Terry Wagner says members of the Fugitive Task Force spotted the vehicle Monday near 27th and Theresa. They continued to watch it until it stopped at Sun Valley and Saunders Avenue.
There were two men inside. Anthony Adams, age 27 was taken into custody for possession of stolen property. The other man was questioned and released.
The jeep was valued at $40,000.
